Christmas Music

Seriously?

It's November 18th and Christmas music has been playing on the local stations non-stop for more than a week now.

Thanksgiving is one week from today and I am already tired of Christmas music. I love it - don't get me wrong, but there is only so many times I can listen to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer before I'm ready to tweak his glowing honker right off his face.

Mix that in with the fact that we don't do Santa (more on that in another post) and I'm changing the tuner on my radio constantly.

Though I will admit that I have a particular weakness for "Santa, Baby," and "Baby it's Cold Outside."

Anyone else think it's a wee bit soon for 24/7 Christmas tunes?

I look at it as the other radio stations play the same 10ish songs over and over and over (seriously, take a trip and listen to the same station....you'll be repeating songs in no time!). This time of year I'm okay if those same 10-20 songs (at least the amount of songs expands at Christmas) repeat over and over :-) (and at least not all the stations are playing Christmas music and we can change the station)
