I know I have shared this blog before, but I am just so thrilled for this family.

Katie is the blogger's name and she is the proud Momma of 14 beautiful girls in Uganda. But in Uganda you have to foster a child for 3 years before you can adopt - and those 3 years are finally up for the first of her children. She can now legally adopt them!

(I also wanted to note: US citizens and residents can adopt from Uganda. They are granted guardianship of the child in country, then upon coming to the US, the child can then be formally adopted here. You do not have to live in Uganda and foster for 3 years first - there is a loophole, praise God!)
