And just like that, Christmas is over. So quickly the stores tear down their decorations. So quickly the turkey or ham is devoured and cast aside. So quickly the presents that had been so carefully wrapped are now strewn about, scattered to the four corners of a room.
But the gift - the gift stays with us forever. Thank you, Lord, for the gift you give eternal. Life, abundantly.
Without it, we all would perish. But you brought us life. Wrapped up in rags one cool night in the company of donkey and sheep. Blessed is He. Blessed is He.
